Bubonic VS Pneumonic
Bubonic Plague was the most common type of the plague. If you caught it, you had a 75% chance of death. This plague caused large swellings in the groin and armpit, black marks on the skin caused by internal bleeding (this is why it is called the black death), a high fever and muscle and nerve spasms. the victims would usually die within five days.
Pneumonic Plague was an extremely rare form of the disease. If caught, there was a 100% chance of death. This form of the plague did not need flea bites to infect, it was spread by coughs and even breathing. It was highly contagious, and attacked the lungs (hence the name) the same large bruising would also appear, as well as (maybe) a long red rash. The victim would die in 2 - 3 days.
